Overview
The Vital Sense is a linear electric fireplace with a low-profile design, available in 50, 60, and 74-inch widths. It's built to recess fully into a 2x6 wall for a flush, built-in appearance, or install as a plug-in unit where a recessed build isn't practical.
Flame Presentation
A multi-color flame effect plays across a bed of crystal glass embers, with 13 flame colors, 3 brightness levels, and 3 flame speeds to personalize the display. An integrated sound feature adds the crackle of a wood fire, and flames can run independently of the heater for year-round use without warmth.
Heating
A fan-forced heater delivers on-demand supplemental warmth for spaces up to approximately 1,000 square feet.
Installation
The Vital Sense fully recesses into 2x6 wall framing, or can be installed as a plug-in unit using the optional plug kit for a 120V circuit. No venting or gas line is required.
Controls
The unit can be operated through the Glen Dimplex Connect app, the included remote, or a hidden touch panel built into the unit.
