Overview
The Revillusion 36 Portrait is a built-in electric firebox with a taller, vertical-oriented proportion, delivering the appearance of a traditional fireplace using electric heat and flame technology. It's designed for framed installations rather than existing fireplace openings.
Flame Presentation
Flames appear larger, brighter, and more randomized, rising from within life-size hardwood-cast logs rather than behind them, with natural soot markings for authenticity. A partially frosted acrylic panel reduces reflections so the back of the firebox stays visible through the flames. The firebox glow can be set to warm hues or midnight mode, and flame base color can be adjusted between red and blue.
Heating
A fan-forced ceramic heater warms spaces up to approximately 1,000 square feet, with up to 8,800 BTU available on a 240V connection. Flames run independently of the heater for year-round use without warmth.
Installation
The firebox is designed for framed installation: frame, wire, and finish, with no venting, gas lines, or safety screen required. It can be direct-wired to 120/208/240V, or connected via a plug kit for 120V use.
Controls
The included remote adjusts flame settings, lighting, and heat, and a sleep timer runs from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
