With its clean-face appearance and minimal visible trim, the IgniteXL creates a wide, uninterrupted flame view. The low-profile construction allows full recessing into a 2 x 6 wall, delivering a streamlined finish that complements contemporary interiors.
The included ¾-inch trim can remain in place or be removed depending on your installation preference, offering flexibility for different framing scenarios.
Realistic Flame Technology with Year-Round Ambiance
Dimplex’s Multi-Fire XD flame effect produces layered, dynamic flames across the entire viewing area. You can select from multiple color themes, cycle through prism mode, or pause on your preferred hue for a customized look.
Flames operate with or without heat, allowing you to enjoy the visual effect in any season. Diamond-like acrylic ice chunks reflect light, enhancing depth and brightness.
Installation Options
The IgniteXL 60-Inch fully recesses into standard 2 x 6 wall construction. It may also be partially recessed into a 2 x 4 wall when paired with the optional trim kit designed for that framing depth.
Installation can be completed by hardwiring the unit or plugging it into a standard 120V outlet using the included plug kit. Always follow the manufacturer's framing, clearance, and electrical requirements during installation.
Controls & Features
This fireplace features backlit controls that remain hidden when not in use, maintaining a clean appearance. The included remote control provides convenient access to flame color themes, heat settings, and timer functions.
The ComfortSaver ceramic heating system is designed to conserve energy while delivering supplemental warmth. The sleep timer can be set from 30 minutes to 8 hours for automatic shutoff. The glass front remains cool to the touch during operation for added safety.
Optional Trim Kit for 2 × 4 Installation
Designed for installations in 2 × 4 wall construction, the optional trim kit allows the IgniteXL 60-Inch to be partially recessed while maintaining a clean, finished look. It helps bridge the depth difference for a seamless transition between the fireplace and wall surface, preserving the streamlined, modern appearance.
